Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween to all! Is it bad that I've been sitting in the family room watching TV (READ...no front light on=no handing out candy). Maybe if I was feeling better I would have a better attitude. I just needed quiet! I did enjoy seeing my kinder kiddos all dressed up today. It's those moments that remind me why I love working with kids.

Weekend Fun...NOT!

So, I have had a busy weekend...of sleeping. Not really feeling all that great. Achy, scratchy throat, you know, the usual symptoms. So, I decided to sleep the weekend away. I did manage to get some school work finished, but other than that it was a blah weekend spent with my boys.

Journaling = Blogging?

I have always HATED journals. The thought of keeping a journal quite frankly frightens this perfectionist personality. What if my handwriting isn't perfect? What if I don't write about the correct thing? Too many what ifs....perhaps. But, as I "grow up" (ha ha) I think it's important to keep a memory of my thoughts, feelings, random musings. So, why not track all of this on the computer? I mean, I can choose a font and don't have to worry about my handwriting. I can choose a layout template so as not to worry about finding the cutest journal. Yeah, right! All of that easy stuff about blogging is SO not true. OMG which layout should I go with? The font? Too many to choose from.

So, I am saying goodbye to perfect (well, trying to) and am just going to be me. I need a place to share; a place to be quirky, thoughtful, random, silly, serious...you get it. And, here goes my adventure in blog land.
